Nabila Maan - Nabyla Maan

Nabyla Maan was born on December 6, 1987 in Fez, Morocco. She descends from the family of Maan Al-Andalusi, who migrated from Andalusia and settled in the capital of Fez. She studied music and composition at the Higher Institute of Music, and learned to play the guitar. She started artistic work in 2005 at the age of 16 by presenting a song whose lyrics were organized by her sister, who later wrote most of her songs.

In 2008, she released her first album entitled (Dunia), produced by Platinum Music Production Company. The songs of the album were greatly influenced by the Moroccan group Nass El Ghiwane. One of the successful songs in the album was the song (Essinia), which was characterized by its adoption of electronic music.

She released her second album entitled (Al-Tair Al-Aali), which included 12 songs in the Moroccan dialect, classical Arabic and French.

In 2012, she started releasing her third album.

She created the song “Generic” for the series “Banat Lalla Manana”, written, composed and performed by Tariq Hilal.

In 2013, she released her third album (Live Your Life), which includes, for the first time, a song in the Amazigh language (Issi Trit), which means Do You Love Me in Amazigh, written by Ahmad Al-Asri Amzal and composed by Tariq Hilal. The album is about a call to live and enjoy life and sings of love and hope for life. The album included 9 songs, namely (Live Your Life, Who Preoccupies My Mind, Choose, Tell Me, Tell Me Poetry, Essie Treat, Why, Tell Me, Reply Your Mind.

Her musical choices are characterized by innovation, as she adopts modern rhythms and tries to mix popular musical styles.
