Nicole Scherzinger was born on June 29, 1978 in Honolulu, the capital and largest city in the state of Hawaii, in the United States. To a Filipino father of Chinese descent and a Hawaiian/Russian mother. Her mother was 18 years old when she gave birth to her, and she divorced her father when she was an infant. Her family name, Scherzinger, comes from the family name of her American stepfather of German origin, Gary Scherzinger. The family moved to Kentucky when Scherzinger was 6 years old, along with her mother, sister, and stepfather.
She started performing in 2001. She joined the Pussycat Dolls in 2003, and rose to fame as frontwoman of the band, which is managed by their manager, Robin Antin. The band has achieved international success since then, with the songs “Don’t Cha”, “Buttons”, “Stickwitu” and “When I Grow Up” reaching the top ten most popular songs in the US.
