Hazal Kaya was born on October 1, 1990 in Gaziantep, Turkey. Her real name is Leila Hazal Kaya, but she has been called Hazal since she was little. Belonging to an upper-class family, she attended an Italian high school in Istanbul and graduated in 2010. Her parents, both lawyers, divorced when she was 7 years old. She was introduced to the world of arts at a very early age. As a child, she took ballet and violin lessons for 7 years. She also loves tango, developing her skills. Her favorite football team is Besiktas. Hazal Kaya speaks fluent Turkish (mother tongue), English, Italian (advanced) and French (advanced), and is learning German.
