Ahmed Azmy was born on April 23, 1972 in Giza Governorate, Egypt. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Higher Institute of Arts. His beginning with art came at a very early age through the radio, where he was correspondent with children’s programs and wrote poetry at the age of eleven years old, and Mr. Mohamed Hamdi, the head of the radio at that time, sent him to meet him, and there he met the idiot Fadila, who included him in her famous program, and then got acquainted The actress Anaam El-Gretly, who had the credit for joining him to television, to participate in many children’s series, and through these series he was able to draw attention to him, so the director Hossam El-Din Mostafa assigned him a role in his famous series (Al-Fursan), which was starred by the artist Ahmed Abdel Aziz.
After Ahmed Azmy obtained his high school diploma, he joined the Institute of Dramatic Arts, and he also joined the artistic skills office of director Youssef Chahine, through which he was able to obtain the honor of participating in the movie (The Closed Doors) by director Atef Hatata after he passed all the exams, then he participated in the movie (The City).
