Balqees Ahmed Fathi was born on 20 October 1984 in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. She resides in the UAE and is a UAE citizen in addition to Yemen. Her father is singer and composer Ahmed Fathi, and her mother is Emirati. I studied marketing strategies at a university. She started singing from her childhood. She played musical instruments from a young age. Her parents discovered her talent and encouraged her to do singing, especially her father. Her first step at the age of 16 was when she participated in a work for Radio Abu Dhabi.
