Biography, Life story
Zina Yazji was born on October 15, 1968 in Latakia, Syria. She received a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Tectrian in Syria, and then a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the Lebanese American University in Beirut. She worked in the offices of Reuters and The Associated Press, then correspondent for CNBC in Syria, and worked on Syrian television. She joined the Al Arabiya Channel in Dubai, from which she resigned in 2011, explaining why Syria had happened in that period, and presented the programme “Arabian Street” in Dubai Television, from which she later resigned. She joined Sky News Arabia to present the show (frankly) with Zeina Yazji.
Zina Yazji married Syrian actor Abed Fahad, with whom she had two sons, Leona and Tim.
