Alma Intabli was born in 1984 in Syria. She is the great-granddaughter on the mother side of the late Syrian activist intellectual Abdulrahman al-Kawakbi, owner of the “tyranny and slave wrestling prints.” Her media career began in 2004 with specialized and comprehensive training courses at the British Thompson Foundation. She worked as a news editor at Arabic Net, and was head of Breaking News. She then went on to TV, co-presenting Sabah Al Arabiya on Al Arabiya news channel, as well as news releases and various programmes. She then moved to work as a broadcaster on Sky News Arabia since her inception, still working for her, and presenting a programme (the first hour). She still lives in Dubai despite moving to work in Abu Dhabi.
Alma Antabli was married for one year and five months to a fellow media associate and signed a divorce several years ago. She was then engaged to Egyptian media outlet Yisri Fouda in 2016 at a small ceremony in Dubai limited to close parents and friends.
