Will Smith was born on September 25, 1968 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. His mother, Caroline, was a school principal and also served on the Philadelphia State School Board. His father, Christopher Smith, was a cooling engineer. His parents separated at the age of 13, and they were effectively divorced only in 2000.
Will Smith began singing and composing songs with a hip-hop band known for its humorous performance. Between 1988 and 1989, he disbursed his money freely and did not pay the taxes payable in full, eventually amounting to $2.8 million, and the tax collection organization withheld many of his property and shaken his income. In 1990 he approached bankruptcy, when NBC signed a contract with him to act on a TV sketch show about his name (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air). Hence, the program has started an acting career, and has studied the characteristics of box office success or “Box Offs.”
Will Smith’s first major role was the drama film (Six Degrees of Separation) in 1993, and the action film (Bad boys) in 1995.
