Summer Bishil was born on July 17, 1988 in Pasadena, California, in the United States. She is the youngest of three children, her mother is American and her father is from India. In 1991, when she was 3 years old, her family moved to Saudi Arabia to work, then to Bahrain, where she was banned with her older brother in Bahrain schools. In 2002, her family moved back to California, where she completed her independent studies in high school, and at first had difficulty integrating.
She started acting in 2005 when she was 14 years old. Her first important role was in the series (Just for Kicks) on the American children’s channel (Nickelodeon), and the series was not shown for long, as the channel canceled it. She appeared in children’s programs and series, including (Hannah Montana), until she got the main role (Jasira) in the movie (Toolhead), and she reached fame through it. She played the role of (Azola) in the movie (The Last Airbender), directed by M. Nate Shyamalan.
