Sherlyn Chopra was born on February 11, 1984 in Hyderabad, India. Chopra was born to a Christian father who works as a doctor and a Muslim mother. She was educated at Stanley High School for Girls, Hyderabad and St. Anne’s College for Girls, Secunderabad. During that period, she won the title of Miss Andhra Pradesh.
She started her acting career with roles in small Bollywood films where she appeared in films like Time Pass, Red Swastik and Game. She also made her Telugu film debut with A Film by Aravind. She was also a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss and left the show on Day 27.
In 2012, she announced that she would appear on the cover of Playboy magazine. She also caused a lot of controversy when she posted nude and semi-nude pictures of herself on Twitter. Her nude photos were recently published in the August 2014 issue of Playboy magazine.
Chopra has been selected to host the sixth season of the MTV reality show Splitsvilla. In 2013, she released her single “Bad Girl”.
