Scarlett Ortiz was born on March 12, 1974 in Caracas, Venezuela. She started her university studies in psychology, but she did not complete her studies, in order to achieve her dream and become a famous actress. She is a Venezuelan actress who began her career by appearing in a children’s program in Venezuela called Nubeluz. She also represented the city of Sucre in Miss Venezuela 1992. In July 2009, the Spanish edition of People magazine reported that she was pregnant with her boyfriend, Yul Berkel, and on March 9, 2010 she gave birth to a baby girl in a hospital. Mount Sinai in Miami and Barbara named it Brenna.

Scarlett Ortiz starred in many successful series, in 1997 she got an offer for her first role in the series Llovizna, and it was the starring role that she played alongside the actor Luis Fernaacutendez, and she received a strong push in presenting starring roles in series.
