Biography, Life story

Mohamed Mounir was born on 10 October 1954 in the village of Mansheh al-Nuba, Aswan, Egypt. He was educated early and spent his boyhood in Aswan before migrating with his family to the capital after Nuba villages sank under the waters of Lake Nasser left by the High Dam in the early 1970s. I love the practice of singing as an amateur from a young age and he sang to his army buddies. He graduated in the Department of Photography, Film and Television from the Faculty of Applied Arts of Helwan University.

The real start was the founding of the Egyptian Band, which presented several successful albums, diversified experiences and their impact in the direction of enlightening drama, engaging Western bands as well, singing in Shami, Sudanese and Algerian dialects in the midst of what was known as the music of the generation and its mixing of stereotypes.

Mohamed Mounir is known for his music in which jazz is mixed with the Nubian pentecostal ladder, his deep lyrics, his automatic and extraneous performance style of the well-known performance etiquette of Egyptians, his disobedient appearance with the traditions of Arabs and singers, especially his sleeping hair peppered with chaos and the way he grabs the microphone and his strange nervous poses while singing.

Mounir is also a representative and a diver.
He was dubbed the King for acting in the play King is King, and his release of an album of the same name featuring his songs that he sang during this political play. He also named him several other titles (Voice of Egypt, Son of the Nile, Egyptian Hatta, Revolutionary Singer, Bob Marley of East, Jewel of Brunette Egypt).

Personal and emotional life

Mohamed Mounir married a girl of Nobi origin living in Paris called “Dalia Muhammad Yusuf” in 2014, but he soon suddenly and shockingly separated her from his audience after just 50 days of marriage and did not announce the reasons.
