Biography, Life story
Melhem Zein was born on October 21, 1982 in Bekaa governorate, Lebanon. He is one of eight brothers of a family raised in the Bekaa and studied their sons there. He studied law at a law school and also studied music at a number of institutes and universities. His talent began to emerge at the age of 7, and he participated at the age of 11 in a festival of song teachers that included all Lebanese schools and won the first place on his region. He also participated in several programs, the most important of which was the programme (Superstar) and shone greatly due to his wonderful mountain voice that dazzled the Arab masses, and there he was dubbed Prince the song reached the Golden Triangle with Ruida Attia and Diana Curzon. Following his exit from the competition, riots and demonstrations took place throughout Lebanon.
In 2008, Melhem Zein married former South Y+emeni President Ali Salem al-Bayd’s daughter Tamani.
