Maya Nehme was born on December 9, 1987 in Tyre, in the south of Lebanon, where she grew up and currently resides. Her father’s name is Irina Nehme, and she has two brothers, Fadi Ahmed and Ayman. She studied at Hanaway High School in Tyre, Lebanon, and then studied at the University of the Holy Spirit – Kaslik. She participated in the reality TV show Star Academy 3 in 2005, a season that ended with the victory of singer Joseph Attieh.
