Biography, Life story
Eman was born on 8 December 1945 in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. She graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the American University of Beirut, and studied theatrical acting at the same university. She is fluent in several languages: English, German and Spanish, and represented in French next to Armenian before being represented in Arabic in Lebanese and Egyptian dialects. Her artistic start was 5 years old when she participated in a ceremony at which she was represented in Armenian. I’ve been involved in many of Shakespeare and Mollier’s global theatre works on the Ba’albek stands. Until she appeared in a number of film and television works in Egypt and Lebanon.
Eman worked in theatre after being discovered by artist Shakib Khoury. She then acted in Lebanese cinema under her real name (Elisabette Sargsyan), and her first film work in Lebanon was “Al-Akhras”, but after heading to Egypt she put an artistic name to her, Eman, where she participated in the film “Big Love” with Fatan Hamad and Fred Al-Atrash. She then presented the film “Ascent to the Abyss” with Medha Kamel, Jamil Ratib and Mahmoud Yassin, which began her month through, then the film “Mothers in Exile”, and the film “Neither Shaf nor Dre” with Adil Imam. The film (Sha ‘ban below zero), the film (six) with Mahmoud Yassin, Hala Sadqi and Vivi Abdu, the film (fatal) with Vivi Abdu, the film (blood call) with Samir Sabri, the film (Al-Shida) with Najla Fathi, and the film (wrong) with Mahmud yad Yassin and Nahid Sharif. It was her first ever film tournament in a film (When Wives Are Absent) with Dread Welding.
