Biography, Life story
Reda Taliani was born in 1980 in Abia, Algeria. From a family descending from the city of Constantine, he grew up in El Kolea in the state of Tipaza. Reda has lived for many years in Marseille, France, and he is well known in France and the Maghreb. He was known as the Italian since the age of 8 because of the way he dressed. He loved music from a young age, and enrolled in a study at the Al-Qalaia Institute of Arab-Andalusian Music, where he learned to play musical instruments, and excelled in playing the mandolin. He loved rai and left Andalusian classical music to pursue singing as a performer of rai and chaabi with a mixture of Maghreb music. His beginnings were with producer Issame, with whom he released his first album in 2000, and since then he has released several songs and albums.
