Priyanka Chopra was born on July 18, 1982 in Jharkhand, India. Both parents were Indian Army doctors, causing the family to move frequently during her childhood, but she spent the needlessness of her childhood in Barelte, and during her adolescence she lived with her aunt for several years in the United States.
She achieved global fame in 2000 after winning Miss World, becoming the fifth Indian girl to win the title. She worked as a model before being attracted by cinema cameras, presenting films of great success at both artistic and commercial levels, and is the first Indian actress to appear on the Indian version of Maxim International Magazine. Today she is one of India’s most popular characters and one of the highest paid female stars in Bollywood after the success of her films in past years.
