Pelin Karahan was born on 6 October 1984 in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, to a Libyan-origin Turkish father and a Turkish mother who worked as a fashion designer, and whose parents separated from each other more than 18 years ago. She began her studies at Ari Elementary College and completed her middle school at Gazi Osman Pasha Elementary School in part and completed it at Odemesh Elementary School, graduating from Mohammad Sokolo Pasha High School. She then studied and graduated from Anadolu University with a tourism management degree. She was involved in a large number of school activities, including dance, singing and acting.
She began her career as a pop singer in Turkey due to the beautiful voice she enjoys, then went to Istanbul to participate in a number of commercials including Coca-Cola, Kate Cat and Pantene, and was nominated for the Ismail Jim Prize, which is one of the biggest awards to be nominated by critics.
She began her acting career in the series “Years of Willow” through the role of Esil Zebek, the first Turkish series she participated in.
