Olina el Hajj was born on 4 March 1989 in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations and diplomacy. Previously, she worked for a non-governmental organization dealing with the development of children’s programmes. She also served as editor of an Arabic and English-speaking magazine. She began her television career as an intern at the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBC), then moved to work as a news anchor for Lebanese channel MTV, and soon moved to Dubai to work for a group (MBC), where she served as a lead presenter on the Ninth News Bulletin for two years. She finally moved to work as a news presenter and news programmes at Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath Channel, and also presented Sabah Al-Arabiya. It is fluent in three Arabic, English and French languages, as well as a few Spanish.
