Nahed Sharif was born on January 1, 1942 in Alexandria, Egypt. She was discovered by director Hussein Helmy, the engineer, whom she later married, and presented her in several films. She worked in Egyptian and Lebanese cinema, and she was famous for presenting the roles of seduction and excitement over the course of her short artistic career, which ended with her early death.
In 1956, she participated in the movie (Habib Al-Rooh).
In 1961, her first starring role was in the movie (Anna and Banati).
In the seventies, Nahed Sharif presented more than 60 cinematic films, including a number of seductive roles. And she reached the height of her audacity in the movie (Wolves Do Not Eat Meat) and the movie (The Groom of Our God), where she appeared completely naked.
In 1973, she co-starred in the movie (Wolves Don’t Eat Meat) with Izzat Al-Alayli and Mohsen Sarhan. The film was shot in the State of Kuwait. And Nahed Sharif appeared completely naked in it, which raised many questions about the reasons for her appearance like this and the reasons that prompted her to do so. Many consider it pornographic and it was banned from showing.
In 1974, she participated in the movie (The Groom of Our God) with Muhammad Awad and Lebleba, which witnessed the scene of a complete relationship between Muhammad Awad and Nahed Sharif, in which she appeared naked from her upper half.
Nahed Sharif died in 1981 in Cairo after suffering from breast cancer, while she was not yet forty years old.

Nahed Sharif married her discoverer, director Hussein Helmy Al-Mohandes, then the divorce took place between them, and later she was associated with the artist Kamal Al-Shennawi, then separated from him, and married a civilian to the Lebanese artist Edward Jerjian, brother of the late dancer Kegham, and gave birth to a daughter named Lina with him.
