Mariam Hussein was born on September 16, 1988 in Tetouan, northern Morocco. She started her artistic career by acting in 2009 in the series (The Neighbors), and continued with artistic work after that, and her real start was in the series (The Maid).
In 2011, she experimented with singing, when she presented a solo song called (From His Lip).

She went through the experience of presenting programs through the competition program (Every Day Maryum), which was shown on (Al-Youm) channel.

In 2020, Mariam Hussein was sentenced to one month in prison, and deported from the UAE after being charged with “indecent assault” in the leaked video clip of her dancing with American singer Tyga, which was filmed three years ago, on her birthday. She told the Kuwaiti newspaper, “Al-Rai”, that she “regrets” the video, and said that she did not develop an alternative plan and that it is impossible for her to live outside the United Arab Emirates, considering it her country in which she lived and grew up, and that she cannot breathe air other than her air, especially since her mother She has been living there for 35 years, as well as her three-year-old daughter, “her school and her whole life are here,” according to her statement.
