Biography, Life story

Lojain Omran was born on October 26, 1977 in Jubail, eastern Saudi Arabia. She is the sister of actress and singer Aseel Imran. She started her career in 1999 working in banking in Riyadh as an Operations Coordinator in the Hawala Division of the Saudi Dutch Bank, then moved in 2002 to Bahrain to continue banking at Citibank in the Visa Collection Department.

Lojain Omran moved to the media field in 2004 by working as a broadcaster on Bahrain Television. She worked as a presenter at several stations, beginning with the presentation of the program “Good Morning Arab” on the Rotana Gulf Channel and then co-presenting the program “Ya Hla” on the MBC1 Channel, which was a qualitative shift in the nature of her programmes. She also presented poetry evenings at several festivals such as the Doha Cultural Festival in 2005 and the Presidential Hybrid Festival in Abu Dhabi, where she was honored at both festivals, and practiced paper journalism through a controversial fixed page in a Saudi publication. She was chosen as the most influential figure in youth in 2009 by the Emirati House of Echo (Emirates House of Echo), and as the 2009 Best Broadcaster in Zahra Al Gulf magazine.

Lojain Omran married a young age to the father of her sons Samir and Gillan, but she separated after having them.
