Biography, Life story
Ghada Owais was born on 6 November 1977 in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon. Bachelor’s degree in media from the Lebanese University in radio and television in 1999. She worked with Radio Voice of Lebanon from 1999 to 2000. From 2000 to 2001, she worked as a journalist and correspondent for Al-Sharq magazine, then worked as a broadcaster and field correspondent with Al-Jadeed TV in 2001 to 2004. She then worked as a broadcaster and field correspondent with Lebanon’s ANB channel from 2004 to 2006. Trained at a training course with BBC in London in 2004. and a training course with BBC in Beirut in 2005. She then joined Al Jazeera as a news anchor and programme in 2006, where she became famous for presenting all the channel’s news bulletins and political programmes, and for participating in a number of the channel’s special coverage.
