Farah Barqawi was born in 1977 in Kuwait. She received a master’s degree in media, a diploma in radio and television, and a bachelor’s degree in languages from the University of Jordan. She is fluent in English, French and Italian alongside Arabic. She served as an anchor of news and political programmes on terrestrial television channels. She then worked on Al Jazeera since 2002 as a broadcaster for the economic bulletin.
