Dalia El Behery was born on October 15, 1970 in Gharbia Governorate, Egypt. In 1989, she won the title of Miss Egypt, and ranked 27th in the Miss World competition held in Los Angeles in the same year. She obtained a BA from the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Department of Tourist Guidance, where she worked as a tour guide, then began her artistic life as a fashion model, then as a program presenter on the Egyptian satellite channel, and through her work in the media field, she entered the field of acting.
In August 2008, she married Farid Al Morshedy, the grandson of the artist Farid Shawky, from his daughter, the producer, Nahed Farid Shawky. She had previously been married, and gave birth to a daughter, Khadija, who died at the age of 8 months due to a rare disease. Then from her last marriage she gave birth to a daughter called Qusmat.
