Arwa was born on July 21, 1979 in Kuwait, to a Yemeni father and an Egyptian mother, and her origins go back to Hadramout Governorate, located in southern Yemen. She moved to Cairo in 1986, where she completed her preparatory, secondary, and university studies in Cairo. She excelled in her studies, and after completing secondary school, she studied Architecture Although she wanted to join the music institute, her family refused and asked her to practice art as a hobby. Her talent was discovered by the composer Youssef Al-Muhanna while she was still studying. After her graduation, she worked as an architect in a Cairo company and excelled in her work until she was able to own her own company, which is She is still working in this field until now.
She participated in many occasions and a number of singing and national festivals. She sang her songs in the Hadhrami and Khaleeji character, as well as in other Arabic dialects, such as Egyptian and Lebanese. Then she moved to singing since 1999, and later presented several programs.
