Ahmed Mekky was born on June 19, 1980 in Oran, Algeria, to an Algerian father and an Egyptian mother, then he moved with his mother to Egypt and lived most of his life there, where he grew up in the “Talibia” neighborhood, and he is the younger brother of actress Enas Mekky. An Egyptian actor and singer of Algerian origin, he played the role of “Haitham Dabbour” in the movie “Morgan Ahmed Morgan” with the Egyptian actor Adel Emam, and in the recent period most of his work was with the Egyptian actress Donia Samir Ghanem in “Tair Enta” and “Neither Retreat nor Surrender” and the series “ Big Oy.” And with director Ahmed El-Gendy in the movie “H Wasp”, “Tair Enta” and “Neither Retreat nor Surrender”. Among the works that he directed was The Seventh Sense (2005), starring Ahmed Al-Fishawy, and his story is based on a short fictional film that he also directed in 2003 at the Technical Institute and co-directed a number of episodes of Critical Moments series.
